Plans and features

Two plans, and the single line of text that is the difference between them.

Loman Maintenance Mode has two plans. Billing runs through Shopify, so a charge appears on your regular Shopify invoice rather than as a separate bill.

Price / month $0 $1.99

That table is not an abbreviation. Every feature is on both plans, and the only difference is a small “Powered by Loman Maintenance Mode” line at the bottom of your maintenance page.

Why the free plan is the whole app

Because a maintenance page is not something you evaluate. It is something you need at 2am in the middle of a migration that is going badly, and a paywall at that moment is a reason to go and install something else.

So the Free plan is not a crippled preview. It closes the store, it looks like your store, your team keeps working behind it, and it costs nothing — indefinitely.

No trial, and none neededThere is no free trial, deliberately. Maintenance is usually measured in hours, so a trial long enough to be worth having would outlast the job — it would be the product given away with extra steps, plus a date you have to remember to cancel. The Free plan does that job better and does not expire.

What Standard buys

One thing: the “Powered by Loman Maintenance Mode” line comes off your page.

It is worth $1.99 to some stores and not to others, and both answers are fine. A store that closes for two hours on a Tuesday probably does not care. A store putting up a week-long seasonal page that customers will look at repeatedly usually does.

Nothing else changes. There is no feature you unlock, no limit that lifts, and no behaviour that differs — if you upgrade and cannot see what changed, look at the bottom of your page.

Changing plans

From Home → Your Plan → Change plan. You can move in either direction at any time, and moving down to Free costs you nothing but the branding line coming back.

Shopify handles the proration. Downgrading does not delete anything — your templates, password, and allowlist are untouched.

Stopping the charge

Moving to the Free plan stops the billing while keeping your setup. That is usually what people want, and it is reversible in one click.

Uninstalling also cancels the subscription, but it eventually removes your templates and settings too. If you might close the store again, move to Free rather than uninstalling.

The page toggle is not a billing switchTurning the maintenance page off does not stop a Standard charge — the app is still installed and still subscribed. The toggle controls what visitors see, not what you are billed. See Closing and reopening your store.

Support

Support is the same on both plans: email [email protected] with your .myshopify.com domain and what you were trying to do. Most replies go out within one business day.

There is no priority support tier here. At $1.99 it would be a promise the price cannot carry, and a store that is closed and stuck needs an answer regardless of which plan it is on.

Still stuck?
