What it does

Coming Soon replaces the blank page most stores leave up between buying a domain and opening. It sits in front of your storefront and shows visitors a page you control — your branding, your launch date, your signup form — instead of Shopify's default password screen.

Visitors who sign up land in a list you own and can export at any time. From the Pro plan up, you can see how many people arrived, where they came from, and what share of them converted. On Premium you can run two versions of the page against each other and let the numbers pick the winner.

Meanwhile, you keep working. Password protection lets partners and testers through, and a URL allowlist can leave specific pages — a lookbook, a wholesale form — reachable while everything else stays behind the page.
