Coach is a subscription for the device you coach from: an iPad or an iPhone. It includes everything in Kinograph Golf Pro, and adds the coaching device. Your golfers don’t need it, or Pro: their phones need nothing to pair, send, or share with you.

Each comes with a free week, where you haven’t had a free trial of Kinograph Golf before. Someone who had Pro’s free month doesn’t get the free week too.
To subscribe, on the device you’ll coach from, tap New session, then Record, tap the recorder’s coaching button, and choose Watch on this device. The app shows what Coach includes, with its prices. Opening a golfer’s lesson without Coach offers it too, with See Coach. Already on Pro? Moving to Coach is an upgrade the App Store handles for you.

The Coaching tab
With Coach, a Coaching tab sits beside your own library. On an iPad, your golfers and their sessions show side by side, and a session you open takes the whole screen.
- The paired phone, and whether it’s here. Tap it to open the session arriving.
- Pair a golfer scans the code on a golfer’s phone. See Pairing a coaching device.
- Golfers, each with their last lesson and how many sessions you have. Tap one for their sessions. To rename a golfer, or delete them and their sessions from this device, use the menu on their row. Their own phone keeps its sessions.
- Recent lessons, the newest across all your golfers.
A golfer’s session opens with every review tool. With Coach, Compare also offers swings from your other golfers, each named with whose it is.
Lessons and shared sessions from afar
- A lesson file a golfer sends you opens in Kinograph Golf from Messages, Mail, AirDrop, or Files, and is kept under that golfer. Send your notes back with the paper plane, Send to your golfer. Your notes and drawings join their own session.
- A session shared over iCloud opens when you tap the invitation, and is kept under the golfer. Your notes and drawings reach your golfer as you make them.
Accepting an invitation needs nothing, but opening the session needs Coach. Without it, the app shows what Coach is, and the session arrives once you subscribe.
