What’s free
Recording a session, importing one video at a time, and every swing kept, with no cap. Slow motion, the close-up of the ball, the ball tracer, each swing’s tempo, and two swings of a session side by side. HD at every frame rate. Saving and sharing your videos, and sending sessions to a coach. Your newest three sessions in your library.
What Pro adds
- Your whole library: every session you’ve filmed or imported, not only the last three. See Your home and library.
- Compare across sessions: any swing beside one from an earlier session, lined up at impact.
- Your tempo over time: every swing’s tempo across your sessions, on one chart.
- Coaching lines Beta: your swing plane, stance, and clubhead path, drawn on every swing.
- Drawings and notes: draw, write, and record voice notes on any swing. See Drawings and notes.
- Strobe pictures: a whole swing in one picture, to study or share.
- Several videos, one session: import several videos at once.
- Record in 4K, up to 120 fps where your iPhone can.
- No mark on your videos or strobe pictures.
- Swings as filmed, saved at once, exactly as your camera recorded them.
Something Pro includes shows a Pro badge where you’d use it. Tap it to see Pro.
Coaching from a second device is Coach, which includes everything in Pro.
What it costs
Prices in the US; the Pro screen shows the price where you are.
| Price | |
|---|---|
| Monthly | $5.99 a month |
| Yearly | $39.99 a year, with the first month free |
| Lifetime | $79.99 once, Pro for good |
The free month is for anyone who hasn’t had a free trial of Kinograph Golf before. Subscriptions renew until you cancel, in your Apple Account’s subscription settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends.
Getting Pro
Tap Kinograph Golf Pro in Settings, choose a plan, and tap Subscribe, Start free trial, or Buy. Remove the mark, on the screen where you save, leads there too.
Once you have it, Settings shows Active, and the Pro screen says when your subscription renews, with Manage subscription, or that Pro is yours for good.
If your purchase needs a parent’s approval, the screen says Waiting for approval. Pro turns on as soon as it’s approved.
Restoring a purchase
On a new iPhone or iPad, or after reinstalling Kinograph Golf, open Kinograph Golf Pro in Settings and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the Apple Account you bought Pro with.
If it says Nothing to restore on this Apple Account, check which Apple Account you’re signed in to the App Store with.
Redeeming a code
Got a code for Pro, say from your range or your coach? Tap Redeem a code in Settings, or on the Pro screen, and enter it in the App Store’s sheet. Pro turns on as soon as it’s redeemed.
