Saving and sharing

Your session as one video or one video per swing, saved to Photos or Files, or shared straight from the app.

When you tap Finish, Kinograph Golf asks how you’d like your swings. A session in your library can be opened and saved again the same way.

One video, or one per swing

  • One video puts every swing in a row, as one video of the session.
  • One per swing makes a video for each swing.

More options chooses what the videos show: slow motion through impact or every swing in real time, the close-up of the ball, and the coaching lines. Tap Preview to watch before you save.

Save or share

Tap Save, then:

  • Save to Photos adds the videos to your library.
  • Save to Files… saves them wherever you choose.
  • Share… sends them to Messages, Mail, AirDrop, or another app.
  • Replace original, for a session imported from one video in Photos and saved as one video, swaps that video for its trimmed version. See Importing a video.

To send your coach the session itself, with your notes, rather than a video, see Sending a session to your coach.

Tap Save again to save another version, say one video for you and one per swing for your coach. Tap Done when you’ve finished.

When you’re done, the session is kept in your library, so you can come back and make other videos from it.

Finish without saving asks what to do with the session: Keep in Library, or Delete this session, which deletes its swings from your device.

The Kinograph mark

Without Pro, videos and strobe pictures you save or share carry a small Kinograph mark in a corner. Kinograph Golf Pro removes it; Remove the mark, on the screen where you save, shows what Pro includes.

With Pro, a swing saved as filmed is saved exactly as your camera recorded it, with no wait.
