The home
Kinograph Golf opens on your library, with your newest session at the top.
- New session, along the bottom, starts a session: choose Record to film one, or Import to bring in a video you already have. See Filming a session and Importing a video.
- Settings is at the top.
The recorder and Import each have a way back home. If you closed the app partway through a session, it opens where you left off instead.
With a Coach subscription, a Coaching tab sits beside your library, with the golfers you coach. See Coaching with Kinograph Golf.
Your library
Each session you finish is kept here, with the swings you kept, to watch again and make new videos from. Tap one to open it.
Your newest three sessions open free. Older ones stay in your library, shown dimmed with a lock, and open with Kinograph Golf Pro. Nothing is deleted because you don’t have Pro.
With Pro, Your tempo over time charts the tempo of your swings across your sessions.
Making room
Sessions are kept on your iPhone or iPad. The library shows how much room they take, under On this iPhone. Every session counts, including the ones that open with Pro.
- Delete one session: swipe it to the left and tap Delete.
- Clear old sessions: tap Clear old sessions and choose Older than a month, Older than three months, or Older than a year.
Deleting a session deletes its swings from your device. Videos you saved to Photos or Files stay where you saved them.
Anyone can delete any session, with Pro or without.
Sessions are kept out of your iCloud backup, because a session of video can be very large. Save the videos you want to keep to Photos or Files. Deleting the app deletes your library.
