A coach who isn’t at the range with you can still see your swings. Sending is free: you don’t need Pro. Your coach opens what you send in Kinograph Golf, with a Coach subscription.
Send a lesson file
- Open a session and tap the paper plane at the top, Send to your coach. Or hold a swing down and choose Send to your coach, to start with just that swing.
- The first time, type your name, so your coach knows whose swings they are.
- Choose the swings to send, then tap Send as a file, and send it by Messages, Mail, AirDrop, or however you like.
The lesson carries your swings, what each one shows, and your drawings and notes, so your coach sees them as you do. Your coach opens it in Kinograph Golf, from Messages, Mail, AirDrop, or Files.
When your coach sends it back
Open the lesson your coach sends you. A sheet says who sent it and shows their notes; tap Open. Their notes and drawings are on your swings, labeled as theirs, and your own are left as they were. If you’ve deleted that session since, it comes back as a new one in your library.
Share a session over iCloud
Sharing over iCloud keeps your coach up to date without sending files back and forth.
- Open the session, tap the paper plane, then Share over iCloud.
- Send the invitation to your coach.
Your coach sees the whole session in Kinograph Golf, and their notes and drawings come back to you as they make them, while the app is open. To add another coach, tap Invite another coach in the same place.
To stop, tap Stop sharing. Your coach keeps what they already have, and nothing more goes to them. Your coach can stop sharing from their side too. Deleting the session also stops sharing it.
Sharing over iCloud needs you to be signed in to iCloud, with iCloud on for Kinograph Golf. Where it can’t be used, the send sheet says why, and you can send a lesson file instead. The shared session is kept in your iCloud, and in your coach’s, and never passes through us.
“Update Kinograph to open this lesson”
The lesson was made by a newer version of Kinograph Golf. Update the app from the App Store, then open the lesson again.
