Insights is where everything the app measures ends up. It appears in the top navigation once your plan includes it.
The page is a stack of cards, each gated on its own feature, so a plan that includes some of them shows those and hides the rest.
| Card | What it answers | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| Analytics | How many people arrived, from where, on what | Pro |
| Email list | Who signed up, and export them | Pro |
| Email insights | What share convert, when, and whether that is improving | Premium |
| A/B tests | Which version of the page wins | Premium |
| Recent activity | What just happened | Premium |
The order is deliberate: the list is who, the insights above and below it are is it working, and the activity feed at the bottom is proof-of-life rather than something to act on.
Reading them in order
A useful way through the page:
- Analytics — are people arriving at all? If views are near zero, the problem is traffic, not the page.
- Email insights — of the people arriving, what share sign up? A page getting traffic and converting nobody is a page problem.
- A/B tests — you have a theory about why. Test it rather than guessing.
- Email list — export and use what you have collected.
Where else results appear
The Home tab carries a compact analytics summary that links here. That is the only duplication; everything else lives on Insights so Home stays a place to act rather than a place to read.
A/B test setup is the one exception in the other direction — it lives on the Templates page, behind the A/B Testing card’s Manage tests button, because creating a test is template work. Only the results appear on Insights.
If the tab is missing
The tab only renders for shops whose plan includes the analytics dashboard — Pro and above. On Basic it is hidden, and typing the URL redirects to Home.
If you are on Pro or Premium and do not see it, check Home → Current plan shows the plan you expect. A subscription that has lapsed or is mid-change can leave entitlement behind for a few minutes.
If the cards are empty
Every card has an empty state saying what it is waiting for. The most common reasons:
- The page has never been visited. Analytics counts views of your Coming Soon page specifically, not of your storefront.
- The page is not live. Check the app embed is enabled and saved, and that Show Coming Soon page to visitors is ticked.
- Signups are going to a third-party service. A Form action URL on your template sends them out of the app, so the list and everything computed from it stay empty.
- Numbers are up to five minutes old. Analytics and email insights are cached briefly. The activity feed is not — it is the one that updates on every page load.
