Exporting your list to CSV

Pro plan

Downloading every address you have captured, and what the file contains.

The Insights page shows a recent preview of your list. Export is how you get all of it.

Download the file

  1. Open Insights.
  2. Find the Email list card.
  3. Click Export CSV.

The file downloads immediately. It contains every signup, newest first — not just the rows shown on screen.

What’s in the file

Column Contents
Email The address
Signed up at Timestamp in ISO 8601 format, UTC — e.g. 2026-08-24T14:32:07Z

Two columns, deliberately. Every mail tool’s import step wants an email column and optionally a date, and a narrow file imports without mapping.

Names aren't in the exportDuo collects first and last name and passes them to the Shopify customer record, but the CSV export carries email and timestamp only. To export names, use Shopify → Customers → Export, which includes every field Shopify holds.

The download link is signed and valid for 15 minutes. That is deliberate — the link authorises access to your list on its own, so it cannot be long-lived.

In practice you will not notice: click the button, the file downloads. If you copy the link and try it an hour later, generate a fresh one by clicking Export CSV again.

Entitlement is re-checked when the link is used, so a link generated before a plan downgrade will not work afterwards.

Importing it elsewhere

MailchimpAudience → Import contacts → Upload a file. Map Email to Email Address; ignore or map Signed up at to a date field.

KlaviyoLists & Segments → your list → Manage list → Import contacts. Same mapping.

Shopify Email — no import needed. Signups are already Shopify customers with marketing consent, so they are available to segment directly.

Consent travels with the list, not the fileThese addresses consented to hear from your store about your launch. Importing them into an unrelated brand's list, or selling the file, is not covered by that consent and is a problem under GDPR and CAN-SPAM.

Export before you uninstall

Uninstalling cancels your subscription and eventually deletes your data. The Shopify customer records survive, but the app’s own list does not.

Export first. It takes one click and it is the only copy that is unambiguously yours.

No signups yet?

The card reads “Addresses collected by your Coming Soon page will appear here.” If you know people have signed up, work through the checks in Collecting email signups — the usual cause is a Form action URL set on the template, which routes signups to a third-party service instead of the built-in list.
