Before you uninstall
Uninstalling cancels your subscription and, after a short retention period, deletes your templates and settings. If you might come back, consider turning the page off instead — it keeps everything and costs nothing to reverse.
Turn the page off instead
- Open Coming Soon and go to Home.
- Untick Show Coming Soon page to visitors.
Your storefront is immediately public again, your setup is preserved, and you can tick the box to bring the page back at any time. You will still be billed while the app is installed.
Uninstall
- In your Shopify admin, go to Apps.
- Find Coming Soon and click the … menu.
- Click Delete or Uninstall and confirm.
Shopify cancels the subscription at that point. You are not charged again.
Afterwards
Removing the app removes its access to your store, and the app embed stops doing
anything — the theme editor may still list it, but with the app gone it renders nothing.
There is no leftover code to strip out of theme.liquid and no 404 to clean up.
include line to your theme's theme.liquid file. Those installs
were migrated, but if your storefront shows an error after uninstalling, email
support@theloman.group and we will tell
you exactly what to remove.
Reinstalling later
Install the app again and your shop is recognised. Whether your previous templates are still there depends on how long it has been — data is retained for a period after uninstall and then deleted. If you are reinstalling within a few weeks, ask us before you rebuild anything.
